At first sight, the 1928 Ford Model A Business Coupe that Jeff Koch photographed and wrote up for SIA #199, February 2004, looks like a good candidate for restoration – it’s still all there and not totally chewed through by rust. And it’s an unusual fixed-cloth-top bodystyle, to boot. But then again, those all make it pretty decent qualities for preservation as well, which is what the owner of the car – who found it in a north-central Michigan barn – had decided to do when Jeff caught up with him.
