While only one of these two photos of Congress Street in Austin, looking toward the state capitol, comes from the Portal to Texas History with a date (above, stamped February 1967), both it and the one below come from the rare times when that part of Texas sees snow. And we all know how everybody following our carspotting series loves to see snowy street scenes. Amazingly, Austin seems not to have shut down due to the inches upon inches of snow either time. What do you see here?
