While it may seem that every surviving Datsun 620 pickup in the United States had been slammed to the pavement during the mini-truck craze, this automatic-equipped 1976 Datsun 620 Li’l Hustler for sale on Hemmings.com has remained stock and has actually seen some restoration work, including new paint and upholstery. The detail photos on this one show just how barebones compact pickups could get during the 1970s and 1980s. From the seller’s description:
Excellent condition, 720 Pickup with the extremely rare automatic transmission. This truck was purchased locally and has never left the Pacific Northwest. When we found it, it was in good original shape. We wanted it to look excellent, so we had a $6,000.00 paint job, new undercoat, new wheels and tires, and new seat upholstery. It has the original tool kit, jack, and owner manuals. It also has the original spare tire and wheel which has been sand blasted and repainted. We have tried to keep the rest as original as possible.
