One would think that the White Model 706 buses that Yellowstone used for tours and, apparently, for ferrying park visitors would be rather rare these days, but we count three of them for sale on Hemmings.com right now: a 1936 and two 1937s. One of the 1937s has been modified, but the other two are restored; all three look perfectly capable of still hauling more than a dozen people. From the seller’s description of the 1936 White Model 706 Yellowstone bus for sale on Hemmings.com:
This bus has been restored to as original other than the color, which would have been yellow with black, windshield defrosters and 3 underseat heaters. This was a full restoration on a very good condition original bus, not just a cosmetic repaint and upholstery. The bus will seat 14 passengers with a large cargo area in the rear.
And from the seller’s description of the restored 1937 White Model 706 Yellowstone bus for sale on Hemmings.com:
one of the finest ground-up restorations ever accomplished; all original, excellent condition, dazzled tourists & administration alike of Yellowstone Park; this unique example will not disappoint; old #427 has been preserved to the highest standards.
And from the seller’s description of the modified 1937 White Model 706 Yellowstone bus for sale on Hemmings.com:
2002 restoration of original Yellowstone Park bus on motorhome chassis with V-8 engine. Drives good and has been in regular service as shuttle bus. Some aluminum corrosion on rear body and door panels needs repair.
