As we learned recently from Vintage Las Vegas, the Royal Nevada hotel and casino on the strip would eventually become the Stardust Auditorium and more hotel rooms for the latter in 1959, presumably not long after these two photos of the two hotels were taken. From what we’ve been able to gather, the Royal Nevada closed in 1958, thus the reason for the half-full parking lot. What do you see here?
