Do you know someone who sold a treasured car years ago, perhaps to pay the bills, and is desperately seeking to find it again? Do you have a friend or neighbor who’s lost touch with an old college roommate, or army buddy, and would give anything to reconnect? If so, the producers of a new documentary series want to hear from you.
Details are a bit sparse, since the show is still under development for a television network. The production company, Leftfield Pictures, has a score of hits to its credit that include Pawn Stars, American Restoration and Counting Cars, so there’s a better-than-average chance its new endeavor will make it to television, unlike countless efforts that never progress beyond the pilot stage.
Leftfield casting producer Meghan Griffin is looking for “truly remarkable individuals” who have done extraordinary deeds for friends, family or community, and are thus deserving of such recognition. As with shows like Velocity’s Overhaulin’, nominations are to come from friends and family, keeping the recipient in the dark until the presentation or reunion.
If you know someone who fits this description, you can contact Meghan via email at Meghan.griffin@leftfieldpictures.com. She’ll need your name, location, and a brief summary of how and why you’d like to recognize the individual, along with a few recent pictures of the nominee.
