In the early 1980s, Japanese motorcycle manufacturers began to diversify their product lines into niche segments like sport bikes and cruisers. Unlike American V-Twin cruisers, the Japanese took more of a “run what you brung” approach to their versions, relying on proven drivetrains but adding features like two-tone paint schemes (with pinstriping), a king and queen style seat, raised white letter tires, and in some cases, ample gold trim. This 1982 Kawasaki Spectre 750, for sale on Hemmings.com, is one such Japanese cruiser, but despite its 33-year age, it appears to have just rolled off a dealer’s showroom. The seller claims it’s been ridden just over 500 miles in that time, and the pristine gold-hued covers, shiny paint and unmarred frame seem to back this up. Though the middle-weight Spectre wasn’t the most sought-after bike of its day, chances are good you won’t find another in this shape outside of a museum. From the seller’s description:

look at the photos they speak for themselfs its beautiful very few blemishes. Tank, fenders and side cover paint is exellent, gauges are exellent, foot pegs are exellent, frame paint is exellent. seat has a few pin sized punctures on the top. no disapointments.
