Killed in a burglary attempt along with his sister Marguerite in November 1980, farmer Levi Vance of North Danville must have left behind quite the estate, given the 850 cars that showed up for the estate auction the following August. The University of Vermont’s Landscape Change Program gives us a few glimpses of the parking lot for that auction, though little more context to go with them. What do you see here?
