Apparently, the site that housed Ingram Oldsmobile on Federal Street in Camden, New Jersey (as depicted in this photo that Bill Sandy recently uploaded to the Hemmings Nation Flickr Pool), had dealerships on it as far back as the 1920s, when Barton S. Muir Oakland-Pontiac operated there. In the 1930s, it became Ingram Oldsmobile; then at some point in the 1950s, Ingram added a Borgward franchise; then in the 1960s and 1970s, it became Hale Oldsmobile and then Lenihan Oldsmobile. The site has since been turned into a parking lot, but at least we have Bill’s photo to show us what once was there. What do you see here?
